Admissions
welcome!
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is more than a school—it’s a vibrant community dedicated to raising thoughtful, capable, and compassionate human beings. We invite families to join us in an educational journey that fosters deep connections, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Our admissions process is thoughtfully designed to guide families through the transition into our school, community, and possibly even our local area.
Through a straightforward and thorough process, we aim to ensure the best fit for the child, the family, and the class community. All steps must be completed before a student can be admitted.

Additional Information
We have an open enrollment policy and accept applications throughout the year based on availability.
Class placement and acceptance depend on your child’s academic, developmental, and social progress. WSSS reserves the right to evaluate students’ readiness for and placement in early childhood and grades programs.
New enrollments are conditional for the first eight weeks.
At WSSS, we maintain a wait pool rather than a waitlist for classes that are currently full. This approach allows us to select applicants based on the best fit for our school community, rather than simply the order in which applications are received.
Our Beforecare and Aftercare programs are designed to provide childcare for working parents while maintaining our school’s pedagogical approach. For registration and more information, please contact admissions@waldorfsaratoga.org.
All students must be registered with their local school district, even if they are enrolled in a private or independent school. This ensures accurate reporting and proper allocation of funds for textbooks, nursing services, and transportation.
Please note: In accordance with NYS law, all visiting and accepted students must provide up-to-date vaccination records and a physical examination summary.
