This is a preview of our bulletin for the week of January 21st, 2024
So many came to help us honor Martin Luther King Jr in a Day of Service at the Saratoga Springs Public Library last Monday. We were happy to partner with MLK Saratoga and other community organizations to spread awareness through small acts of service for and by the children in our community.

Beautiful detail in snowflakes made by our Middle Graders.
In Grade 4, students are finishing up needle books! These are hand sewn wool felt “books” that they will use to stash sewing needles and pins in for the year! The backdrop is a cross stitched table cloth from Ukraine, and lends wonderful inspiration for their own cross stitching this year. The wool felt is from Fiddlehead Artisan Supply, an independent craft store where Ms Emily’s older sister works, and teaches sewing classes as well!
Over at our Forest Kindergarten the children took advantage of the snow covered hill, giggling all the way down on their bright, colorful sleds.
1st Graders have been busy in Handwork Class, knitting kitty cats and ducks. They are also learning how to card - a process by which wool or cotton fibers are separated and prepared for spinning.
